At London Design Festival 2010, Kvadrat launched Squaring of the Circle, a textile collection developed by Cristian Zuzunaga and presented in London for the first time.

The collection explored the possibility of creating individuality within industrial production. A pixel composition with a repeat of approximately five metres was cut and assembled at different points, meaning that although the cushions belonged to the same system, no two were exactly alike.

Inspired by the visual structures of the city, the installation brought together digital imagery and textile production, translating the pixel from screen into fabric, object and space.
