Degrade explores the point at which an image begins to lose coherence.
Through repetition, pressure, distortion, erosion and the loss of information, structures begin to fragment and dissolve. What was stable becomes uncertain; form moves towards texture, noise or disappearance.
Degradation is treated not as an ending, but as a generative process. As one image breaks down, another begins to emerge.
