Digit began with a letterpress print translated into a digital image and reduced to a palette of 26 colours.

Developed with nanimarquina, the image was then translated again into hand-knotted New Zealand wool. Through the movement of hundreds of individual threads, the precision of the digital pixel becomes softer and less defined, transforming geometric information into a tactile surface.

The collection was produced in colour and monochrome versions and launched in Milan in 2010.
