Invited by Wallpaper* for its Handmade project, I worked with Swedish bedmaker Hästens to create a one-off bed presented during Milan Design Week in 2010.

Developed at the Hästens factory, the work brought together their established language of checks with my own investigation of the pixel, repetition and symmetry. A field of deep blues, greys and greens was constructed across the surface, transforming the bed into a large-scale composition of colour and repeated units.

The work was presented by Wallpaper* at Brioni House in Milan.
