The collaboration with Kvadrat launched Pixel Cushions into production in 2010, translating an independently developed textile project into an internationally distributed collection.

Produced in Denmark, the cushions used sublimation-printed Trevira CS and were launched in three designs: Spirit, Fire and Soul. Each face was cut from a continuous printed field, allowing variations in composition and front-and-back combinations. Although manufactured at scale, no two cushions were exactly alike.

The collaboration marked an important transition from experimental digital textile printing into serial production, while preserving the original principle of the work: repetition as a means of producing individuality.
