Commissioned by Tate for Colour Chart: Reinventing Colour, 1950 to Today at Tate Liverpool, a silk scarf translates the colour chart into a field of overlapping, translucent squares.

Colour is treated as a system: individual units combine, shift and mix through transparency, producing further colours through their interaction.

Printed on silk, the geometry becomes fluid when worn. The ordered grid folds, overlaps and continually changes, transforming a fixed image into colour in movement.
