Structures brings together photographs of architecture and the built environment made while walking through cities.

Façades, towers, windows, passages and repeated forms organise space at different scales. Changes in distance and viewpoint can cause buildings to shift between object, pattern and abstraction, revealing relationships that are difficult to perceive from within the city itself.

The photographs consider architecture not simply as individual buildings, but as structures within larger structures – fragments through which the organisation and rhythm of the city become visible.
